From Alaska all the way to the Maldives with a stop over in Germany to break up the flights. The Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort is an amazing all inclusive, adults only resort situated on Kooddoo Island in the Southern Maldives. We were greeted with warm hospitality, amazing food and drink and an over water bungalow that was over the top! We snorkeled every day and went SCUBA diving every other day. The resort provides many free tours like a dolphin cruise, sunset fishing, jet ski tour and 1/2 price massages. The snorkeling was amazing and so was the SCUBA diving! Corals were looking pretty okay but I can only imagined what they would have looked like 20 or 30 years ago.

Some really nice drift dives with incoming tides. Here’s a short clip of the best of the dives. Always very small groups and sometimes had a private dive with Agus or Steve.
